Just some more photography.

If you really want to know something, ask. Information easily available isn't worth much, after all. I don't know what I should put here anyway. Photos (and whatnot) are generally mine, but if they're reblogged or I say otherwise in the caption, then they probably aren't! Simple.

website: www.illusionsofgrandeurphotography.com (I put this as the source on my photos, so it’s already on basically all of my posts anyway)

It’s cheesy, I know, but I came up with it years ago and it was sort of a play on words? Like delusions of grandeur…except not. I don’t even know. It sounds pretentious or something.

If you want to learn what someone fears losing, watch what they photograph.

The cognitive dissonance caused by a society that tells its children to “follow their dreams” through messages in films, literature, etc. and then punishes them for not choosing safe, money making careers in adulthood is fascinating, to say the least.

what really scares me is that i’m average i’m not really good at anything or really beautiful i’m going to live an average life with an average job an average income and die an average death with an average funeral and nobody is going to remember me

Van Gogh thought that too

That is really, really inspiring, actually.

If it involves mountains, breakfast food, coffee or campfires- I’m in.
